Paula Badosa explains the abrupt farewell to Stefanos Tsitsipas

Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas have broken up: after a year the hottest couple in tennis has decided to part ways. It was the Spanish tennis player who announced it on her social profiles: "After careful reflection and many precious moments together, Stefanos and I have decided to part our ways amicably".

The Iberian tennis player assured that there was no traumatic breakup: "We shared a path full of love and learning and now, as friends with great respect, we have decided to continue it each on our own".

"We appreciate the support of our friends, family and all those who have been part of our history. As we move into this new chapter of our lives, we continue to wish ourselves the best in each of our challenges. We ask for privacy during this time, thanking you for your understanding and respect", concluded Paula Badosa.

Only a week ago the two were immortalized together in Madrid. At the moment, the world number 8 has not yet made any official statement. Paula Badosa is not going through an easy time, because she is struggling with some physical problems that are severely limiting her performance: a few days ago she had cried on the court, consoled by her friend Aryna Sabalenka.
