Carlo Ancelotti clear: "Aware of the difficultiesà"

After the 2-2 draw in the first leg in Munich, Real Madrid will play for access to the Champions League final against Bayern on Wednesday night. If successful, Carlo Ancelotti would improve a record already his, that of the greatest number of Champions Cup/Champions League finals for a coach: in fact, as a coach he led AC Milan in 2003, 2005 and 2007, while with the Blancos he was on the bench in 2014 and 2022.

"We are very excited, it could be another magical night for the history of this club,” said the Real Madrid coach. “However, we do not want to be too optimistic. We are well aware of the difficulties that come with challenging a really very strong team like Bayern Munich".

"At the level of societies" the level è very similar,& added Ancelotti. They both have a great history, full of success. We respect each other and è rightly so. We are Real Madrid but we have to respect our opponents because objectively at the first leg they did better than us, despite the final result".

"It is always worth living these appointments, with all the enthusiasm in the world. Playing a Champions semifinal brings a very big load of motivation: before the game there's always a bit of worry but preparing for it è extraordinary. My motivation è very high" assured the coach from Reggiolo.
