Juventus: Giuntoli’s strategy for changing defense and offense
The first revolution should start from the rearguard.
Juventus soccer market: lots of news ahead of next season, after decidedly dull months (net of the outcome of the Coppa Italia final against Atalanta). So many Bianconeri pawns could change over the course of the summer, and something is already moving in the first weeks of May. So much so that Cristiano Giuntoli seems to have already worked out a strategy in this regard.
Among the various departments that could change face, the defense stands out. With captain Danilo likely to be sacrificed, the one who is moving further and further away from Juventus è Bremer. The former Torino man could leave Serie A, and give the Bianconeri club a little treasure to reinvest in the same department and more.
According to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport', in fact, Giuntoli has already identified the moves following Bremer's eventual departure. Already having identified Riccardo Calafiori as a next Juventus reinforcement to come, one name brought to the forefront è is now that of Jake O'Brien, an Irish defender from Lyon just 22 years old. Other names on the Bianconeri’s notebook are those of Pavlovic and (moreù difficult) Lacroix.
Real target è però forò some time, another. Giuntoli would be willing to give up several young jewels, so as to recover an important nest egg with which to convince Bologna to give up star Joshua Zirkzee to Juventus. The three young Bianconeri stars that could be sacrificed answer to the names of Soulé, Huijsen and Iling Junior.
