At the Meazza Stadium, Milan overwhelmed Cagliari 5-1 in the match of the thirty-sixth day of Serie A by scoring four goals in the second half and virtually secures second place in the standings.

Milan took the lead in the 35’: Chukwueze deflects a Pulisic cross from close range, Scuffet clears but on the feet of Bennacer who inserts the tap in.

On 59’ the Rossoneri doubled: counterattack by Leao, served Pulisic who pierced Scuffet at the first post. At 63’ Cagliari shortens the distance: cross by Zappa on which Nandez arrives and beats Sportiello.

It è not over because at’86’ Pulisic signs his personal double on Okafor’s cross, useless the attempt of Scuffet who intercepts over the line. With this defeat of Cagliari, Lecce mathematically conquers salvation.
