NBA Play-offs: Dallas and Boston don’t cheat and move to lead
Tatum and Brown tear OKC’s defense to shreds
Two NBA playoff games played on the night. Great show of strength by Boston, which won on Cleveland’s court (106-93), taking a 2-1 lead in the series. Decisive were the brilliant performances, in the Celtics’ house, of Tatum (33 points and 13 rebounds) and Brown (28 points with also nine rebounds). "We just wanted to get the win, knowing that we had not played the way we should have in Game 2. It was a great performance. We took advantage of the opportunity to do what we do best", Tatum words reported by ESPN.
In the Cavs’ house, a sumptuous Mitchell, author of 33 points with an unreal 7/12 from three points) is not enough. The problem is his decidedly poor physical condition. In the end of the game, Mitchell’s left knee è returned to worry Cleveland fans.
Key win also for Dallas, which took home the third act of the series against OKC (105-101) and moved to a 2-1 lead. Mavs who, down by 10 points, bounce back with a nail-biting finish to the game. Despite a precarious physical condition, Doncic manages to put up 22 points, with 15 rebounds. Irving also did not shine, still signing 22 points.
On the other side, Gilgeous-Alexander plays his usual, immense game, finishing with 31 points and 10 rebounds but, in the final game, he fails to be as polished as he would like, handing, in fact, the success to the Mavs.
