Obviously, the favorite to grab him is Ferrari, to which the name of Newey è approached for months, but the house of Maranello does not è the only suitor to secure the services of the designer più winningest in the history of Formula 1. Here are Newey’s words.

"If, 15 years ago, I had been told to seriously consider changing teams at my age, going to another team and for another four or five seasons, I would have said that was crazy. But some things happened at the same time…".

"My father was a veterinarian, but he also had a passion for cars. He wanted to retire at age 60. In the end, although he gradually reduced his commitments, è he went on for another five years. But when è the time came for retirement, he lost his way, his magic".

"I wanted to work in auto racing as a designer since I was eight or 10 years old. I was fortunate enough to fulfill this desire. Every day è has simply been a reward. I love what I do".

“I am seriously considering changing teams, going somewhere else and doing another four or five years or whatever. I’m going to take some vacation. As Forrest Gump said after his run: ‘I feel a little tired right now’. At some point, I will probably go back’. I know I would miss it".
