Ducati, Jorge Martin è fed up: "I can’t wait"
Jorge Martin is back to calling Ducati. In an interview with Cadena SER, the Spanish rider regrets not yet knowing what his future will be next season. Jorge Martin has è proved to be the fastest and most continuous of all in this first part of the World Championship, and is explicitly aiming for the place of Enea Bastianini, who will leave the factory team at the end of 2024. But from Ducati still no signals arrive.
"It depends on Albert, my manager. But I know it will beà soon, we cannot wait much longer. I would like to close it now, becauseé I need that peace of mind to run with a clear mind, not run thinking if they appreciate me or not. I want to go red and fight to win the World Championship, but nobody knows what will happen;… It doesn’t depend on me, it depends on X people".
Martin is playing for a place in the factory team with Marc Marquez, who seems to have found the right feeling with Team Gresini’s Ducati. The Pramac team centaur has only good words for the Catalan and expressed a wish: "I would like to share a team with Marc. To fight with him è already; something special, I feel like fighting him, but to be teammates would be brutal".
Jorge Martin feels he has more self-confidence and value: "Maybe there’è those who had doubts last year, because’é it was against one rider. But now there isn’t just one, there are more, and continuing to win helps you become stronger. You have to train and work hard to become moreù strong every day, not è easy".
