MotoGp, Pecco Bagnaia returns to the scene of the scare and sets the record straight

Pecco Bagnaia: "I don’t let myself be conditioned"

A little less than nine months from the Catalan GP in 2023, MotoGp makes a stop in Montmeló for the sixth race weekend of the World Championship: an important appointment for Pecco Bagnaia, who last year was despite himself the protagonist of a tremendous accident that had frightened a lot of fans and insiders, except fortunately turned out to be less serious in the hours and days that followed.

Speaking at a press conference, the reigning world champion è returned on the'episode: "Definitely è was one of the ugliest falls of my career – explained Bagnaia, who rientrò in the next race in Misano where, albeit not 100%, I won third place in both the Sprint Race and the Grand Prix  -. It was a violent and unexpected accident, in which I passed on my leg".

"It wasn&#39t easy to recover, but it&#39s a battle that I already fought and won last year,''the Ducatist went on to clarify.&#39 Now my goal è to focus on the present, aware of why I had fallen. I am totally confident that there will be no thoughts to affect my performance this weekend".

Bagnaia, in the first five MotoGp 2024 race weekends, has picked up two wins, in Qatar and Jerez, and a third place in Le Mans. In the Sprint Races he never particularly shone, collecting two fourth places as his best result, in Lusail and Portimao. In the standings è second, 38 points behind leader Jorge Martin.
