GP Catalunya Moto3, David Alonso’s poker

Colombian David Alonso, on his CFMoto triumphed in the Moto3 class Catalan Grand Prix at the Montmeló circuit. Second the Spaniards from KTM, but from two different teams, Ivan Ortola and José Antonio Rueda, fourth the Dutchman from Husqvarna Collin Veijer. Sixth the Spaniard of Gas Gas Daniel Holgado.

From the’beginning there’è a very dense group to play for the first positions, at least fifteen competitors, but in front are always Alonso, Ortola, Veijer and Holgado and è the Colombian who takes the lead with seven laps to go and begins to raise the pace dragging behind the other three.

The world leader però loses ground and on the other three pounces Rueda. Alonso shifts gears on the’last lap and triumphs for the fourth time in six races this season, also snatching the championship lead from Holgado.

Behind him come, in’order, Ortola, Rueda, Veijer and David Munoz. Alonso è now leads with a 14-point advantage over Holgado, third è Veijer who però è è is already 43 points behind, fourth Ortola at 48.
