Juventus pressing on Di Gregorio and Calafiori

While waiting to officially kick off the Thiago Motta era, Juventus è already very active in the market to try to satisfy the demands of its next coach. Ds Cristiano Giuntoli, for some time now, has allegedly already been planning for several weeks the future of the club, which will have as its mantra to start again from young players from Serie A. According to a report by "Tuttosport", there would already be two profiles that would be followed with great attention by the bianconeri.

The first name è that of Michele Di Gregorio of Monza, for whom an agreement in principle would already have been reached on the basis of a total offer of 18 million euros. Before placing the decisive lunge, however, Juventus will have to define the future of Mattia Perin and Wojchech Szczesny. The former è will most likely leave Turin, while the latter could be sold only in front of advantageous offers, so as to further rejuvenate the squad.

In addition to the Brianza-based extreme defender, the Bianconeri would have also put in their sights Riccardo Calafiori, who has reportedly already expressed his willingness to reunite with Thiago Motta. The main obstacle for the Piedmontese club, however, would be Bologna&#39s high demand (30 million euros). Ds Cristiano Giuntoli, in fact, would be negotiating with the Emilian club to consider the inclusion of a technical quid pro quo so as to limit the financial outlay. There would be three players that could be included in the negotiation: Fabio Miretti, Hans Nicolussi Caviglia and Facundo Gonzalez.

If the negotiation for Di Gregorio è is already at an advanced stage, the one for the Felsine side player è is still at an early stage, since there would not yet be an agreement between the parties regarding the counterpart to be included. Juventus’ will, however, would be to try to close both deals before the Euro 2024 opening ceremony.
