Cristiano Giuntoli sheds light on the intentions of the bianconeri

Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli è returned to talk about the Bianconeri’s January market on the sidelines of the Globe Soccer Awards staged on Friday in Dubai, an event that saw him receive the executive of the year award. Juve’s sporting director, at the microphones of 'Sky Sport' shed light on the club’s intentions regarding inbound and outbound movements.

The rumor bounced from several sides è that of an imminent farewell from Moise Kean: "He's requested by several clubs – Giuntoli confirmed -, from our point of view we are evaluating what to do with his agent, for his sake and also for ours. Inbound, even if Kean were to leave, our market è closed. We are happy with our path, we continue with those who are there'è".

Juve è second in the standings at -2 from Inter, but Giuntoli does not want to hear about the Scudetto: "We continue to look at fifth place – he said, explaining that the primary goal è qualification for the next Champions League, after a year away from Europe -, we want to stay well away from it and the Lecce match will be very important in that sense".

"The ambition to do better than fourth place è clearly it always takes – specified the Juventus executive -, even in transition years like this one. This season's goal forò è is to return to the Champions League, an important step that would also be useful in enhancing the value of our boys".
