Banchi likes it in Spain

Even during the playoffs, the basketball-market does not stop. According to reports by Walter Fuochi in Repubblica, Luca Banchi è among the coaches being considered by Baskonia, along with Jaka Lakovic and Alex Mumbru, after the separation from Dusko Ivanovic. 

The Tuscan coach had already been in contact with the Basque club last summer, but negotiations had broken down due to the double commitment required: Banchi wished to continue guiding the Latvian national team, with which he went on to achieve excellent results at the World Cup.

It should be remembered that Banchi has a contract with Virtus Bologna until June 30, 2025. Any discussion about his future will therefore be postponed to a later stage, when the situation will be more defined.
