MotoGP, skips Grand Prix of India: in its place the GP in Kazakhstan
MotoGP 2024 calendar changes: è the Grand Prix of India, scheduled for September 20-22, has been cancelled. FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports, in fact, announced that in 2024 the Indian Grand Prix will not be held: the MotoGP™ will postpone its return to the Asian country to the beginning of 2025 for operational reasons.
Following the advice of the Uttar Pradesh government, which confirms its long-term commitment to MotoGP™, the championship will return to Buddh International Circuit in March 2025, when weather conditions are expected to be optimal for both spectators and riders.
The GP d'India will be replaced by the Kazakhstan Grand Prix. FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have announced the new dates for the 2024 Kazakhstan Grand Prix, which was postponed after floods recently hit the region and caused the postponement of the event initially scheduled for June.
The first Kazakhstan Grand Prix will be held from September 20 to 22 and will be the first Asian leg of the 2024 MotoGP&trade calendar.
