Davide Tardozzi extols the Marc Marquez-Pecco Bagnaia pair
During an interview given to the microphones of the Spanish newspaper "As", Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi, among the various topics discussed, dwelt on the decision to sign Marc Marquez as Pecco Bagnaia's future teammate and on thedomino effect that this decision brought in the riders market, since Jorge Martin and Marco Bezzecchi moved to Aprilia, Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales to KTM and the Pramac team decided to accept Yamaha's offer.
"I have no problem with Jorge and he has no problem with me. The arrival of Marc in our box will allow us to form an incredible couple, the best team in Ducati history in MotoGp, everyone will envy us. I am sure that KTM and Aprilia also came out strongly reinforced by this domino effect, but we will also be competitive and we can count on a winning team for the coming seasons" began the Ducati team manager.
"Marc has been part of my professional career, I will try to stop suffering to enjoy it and learn from him. All the past riders here have taught me something and I think Marquez will have a lot to pass on to me. I am very happy to be able to work with him. The team with Pecco canò be compared to that of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo in Yamaha or Doohan and Gardner in Honda" added the Italian executive.
"Inside the box I don't think there will be any problems and the climate will be calm. We have two very strong and ambitious riders, but I am convinced that we will be able to be one team united and focused towards the achievement of our goals" concluded Davide Tardozzi.
