Italvolleyball, the summoned for Paris 2024

The Italian Volleyball Federation has made official the list of summoned men and women national volleyball team members who will take part in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games, scheduled from July 26 to August 11. 

Head coach Ferdinando De Giorgi has chosen the athletes, 12 plus a reserve player who can be added only in case of injury, who will play in the men’s volleyball tournament, which will be held at the South Paris Arena 1.

The Azzurri for Paris 2024:

Dribblers: Simone Giannelli (Captain) and Riccardo Sbertoli.
Setters: Alessandro Michieletto, Daniele Lavia, Luca Porro, Mattia Bottolo.
Center: Gianluca Galassi, Roberto Russo, Giovanni Sanguinetti.
Opposites: Yuri Romanò, Alessandro Bovolenta.
Libero: Fabio Balaso.
Thirteenth: Gabriele Laurenzano (Libero).
