Adrian Newey does not reveal his future but mentions two drivers he would like to work with

In an’interview with The Sunday Times, reported by formulapassion.co.uk, Adrian Newey spoke about his future and while saying that he has not yet decided where he will go after his farewell to Red Bull he does name two drivers with whom he has not yet worked and with whom he would like to collaborate.

“There are some drivers, such as Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, with whom I would have liked to work, but so far there’s never been the right place or time to join. I got on very well with Nigel Mansell at Williams, although he had a character where you either love him or hate him, and with Max Verstappen, with whom è it was a huge pleasure to work at Red Bull“.

“I don’t know what the future holds for me, but this summer, instead of having to go around the world for Grand Prix races, I will be able to see my family. After decades of working in Formula 1 I have gotten used to the constant pressure. If you don’t win you try to figure out why; and if you win you try to stay there;. È a relentless schedule, but motorsport è has always been in my blood”.

In short, the names that Newey has mentioned, those of Hamilton and Alonso, may be a clue as to what may be the most likely teams in which he will land in 2025, and obviously the biggest suspects in that regard are Ferrari and Aston Matin, the ones that have been on everyone’s lips for months.
