Massimo Eccheli will be the technician of MINT Vero Volley Monza again in the 2024-2025 season. “Monza’s’coach of record” who guided the Consortium’s men’s representative team to the first continental trophy in its history, the 2022 CEV Cup, will sit on the red-blù bench for the fifth consecutive season.
The balance of Eccheli as coach of the Monzese in the sporting year just ended è largely positive, with as many as 3 finals reached: SuperLega Credem Banca, Del Monte Coppa Italia and CEV Challenge Cup. In the upcoming season, the Brianzoli will be engaged in 4 competitions: SuperLega Credem Banca – kicking off the’last weekend of September -, CEV Champions League (first time in the men’s history of Consorzio Vero Volley), Del Monte Coppa Italia and Del Monte® Supercoppa Italiana.
Eccheli commented as follows: “This season we have closed a two-year cycle, inserting important players such as, among others, Loeppky and Takahashi in a group already formed by level athletes. Next season, on the other hand, will be a great challenge: the first thing to do è not to be lulled by the results obtained this year, but to start again with a renewed team that will have to find its identity right away and chase the corporate objectives in a league where so many teams have strengthened. Playing the Champions League will be a pride and an additional incentive to give our best even in the competition that hosts the best teams on the European scene”.
