Bologna bets on experience: big blow for defense

Mats Hummels è more and more close to Bologna: the defender chose the Bologna club despite having many other offers, even economically more advantageous. There are still some details to be settled but the negotiations are proceeding apace.

The Rossoblù club has decided to focus on experience to shore up the defense.Hummels, 36 in December, left Borussia Dortmund after 508 games. There had also been talk in recent weeks of a possible contract extension, but the defender chose to leave the yellow and black club on a zero-parameter basis.
