The Dream Team is in Abu Dhabi for two friendly tests ahead of the upcoming Olympics. Two friendlies to test the health of the group, currently at the center of media attention more for the "Brown" case (not summoned in place of the injured Leonard) than for sporting issues.

The United States won, with enormous effort, the game against Australia (98-92).
