Valentino Rossi, breakthrough on the way: Uccio excited about the deal
New agreement between Ducati and VR46
The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, the motorcycle association founded by Valentino Rossi, will have an official Ducati at its disposal in the 2025 MotoGp season: the agreement was announced on Friday by the parties involved on the sidelines of the MotoGP weekend in Great Britain.
Of the two bikes available to the team, therefore, one will be the same one that Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez will use in the official team, while the other will be a Desmosedici GP24. The contract, as the official MotoGp portal explains, è multi-year, although its duration has not been specified.
Enthusiastic about the agreement è the Team Director of Pertamina Enduro VR46, Alessio 'Uccio' Salucci: "I can only be proud to announce that starting next year the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will be the Ducati Factory Supported Team in MotoGp – he said -. We will be on track with an official bike and a GP24. If they had told me this only a few years ago, I wouldn't have believed".
"It's a really significant moment for the whole team – added the 'Doctor's right-hand man -: to have reached this milestone in just three years, with a young team, with so many guys who are with us from Moto3, è something extraordinary. I want to thank all the people who work in the team, the sponsors, Ducati and Gigi Dall'Igna for believing in this project and for being able to make it materialize as it deserves".
"There are demanding years ahead, full of challenges, but we look forward to testing ourselves and trying to achieve ambitious results" concluded Uccio.
