The future of Argentine Julian Alvarez will be in Madrid, Atletico side. Manchester City has reached an agreement to sell the player on the basis of 94 million euros. The Citizens had bought Alvarez from River Plate in the winter of 2022 for a sum close to 20 million.
Guardiola will thus have to give up his vice-Haaland. Alvarez ends his adventure in Manchester with 36 goals and 18 assists in 103 appearances, but above all, two Premier Leagues, a Champions League, a Club World Cup, a European Super Cup and an FA Cup.
