Jannik Sinner to the quarters

Second win, again in the doubles tournament, for Jannik Sinner in Montreal. The world number one, awaiting tonight’s singles debut, is taking some nice satisfaction paired with Jack Draper.

If in the opener had come a hard-earned success against the Belgian pair of Gille and Vliegen in three sets with the score of 6-0, 6-7 (3), 10-8, in the night è came a more clear-cut affirmation against the duo consisting of’American Ben Shelton and Kazakhstan Alexander Bublik with the score of 7-6 (2) 6-1.

Sinner and Draper will then star in the quarterfinals against the pair that will emerge victorious from the match between the Poles Nys/Zielinski and the No. 2 seeded, Bopanna/Ebden.
