Saturday afternoon è came another medal for Italy, number 37 of the expedition to France: the girls in rhythmic gymnastics took bronze behind China and Israel.
Wonderful performance by the Butterflies who però were penalized due to the fall of a hoop during the performance. In the overall team competition, Martina Centofanti, Agnese Duranti, Alessia Maurelli, Daniela Mogurean and Laura Paris scored third overall after the second rotation, for a total of 68,100. The Chinese took a score of 69.800, Israel 68.850.
In the first exercise, the blue women committed some smudges and finished with a score of 36.100 (20.70 total difficulty, 8.35 artistic and 7.05 execution) behind China and Ukraine. The second exercise was definitely better.
