Atalanta, new lead for Koopmeiners’ replacement
The Dutch midfielder è getting closer to Juventus
Koopmeiners è future is now sealed. The Dutch midfielder è close to a move to Juventus, now ready to invest nearly 60 million euros to snatch him from Dea and make him one of the strengths of the Bianconeri midfield.
As is well known, the Orobica team è looking for a viable replacement for Koopmeiners. The hot name remains that of O'Riley, in force at Celtic (the negotiation would be at a good point with the player well pleased to move to Atalanta and to be able to play, as a protagonist, the Champions League) but, in the last hours, a new opportunity would have opened up, definitely interesting.
The new track would lead to Samardzic, a player on the strength of Udinese. The 22-year-old Serbian national still has two years left on his contract with the Friulian club but, for practically a year, he has been flirting with several top Italian clubs (he was one step away from Inter and also close to finding an agreement with AC Milan).
Atalanta is reportedly studying the possibility of coming forward with Udinese for Samardzic. The Serbian is perfectly familiar with Italian soccer (he played three seasons, at a high level, with the Friulani) and, therefore, would be immediately ready to give his contribution to Gasperini.
