Pecco Bagnaia wins Sprint Race in Austria
Pecco Bagnaia returns to success in the MotoGp Sprint Race in Austria: the reigning world champion completes the 14 laps, riding his factory Ducati, in 20'59.768, ahead of Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac), second at 4 1/2 seconds, and Aleix Espargaró (Aprilia), third at 7 1/2 seconds.
For Bagnaia that of today è a double blow: in addition to winning the race, in fact, the Piedmontese returns to the top of the overall standings with 250 points, pairing just Martin who, after struggling in the early laps, had to serve a long lap penalty for cutting a corner that inevitably affected the final result.

The race è also characterized by the fourth place of Enea Bastianini (Ducati) and the fifth of Jack Miller (KTM), good at overtaking Franco Morbidelli (sixth on Ducati Pramac) in a final race that saw Marc Marquez slip on the ground, forced to retire.
As for the Italian riders, said the first place of Bagnaia, the fourth of Bastianini and the sixth of Morbidelli, should be noted the eighth place of Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati VR46), the seventeenth of Luca Marini (Honda) and the eighteenth of Lorenzo Savadori (Aprilia).
