Adrien Rabiot is still without a team: AC Milan is waiting for him
The French national è still a luxury unemployed
When he decided to turn down a renewal with Juventus, Rabiot probably did not expect to have to wait soì long to know what his new team would be. He had stated that he would make a decision at the end of the European Championships. It is now the end of August and, at the moment, his future è far from delineated.
Rabiot, a French national, has many admirers around Europe but no one seems to have put the right proposal on the table. The feeling è that Milan, at the moment, is the best solution he has on his hands. Milan, which has never changed its initial offer: 5.5 million euros net per season (plus bonuses), nothing more.
A fair proposal but one that clashes with Rabiot’s initial demands, which aimed for a much higher salary. Should he accept to wear the rossonero, he would earn less than in his previous experience at Juventus.
Milan, should ex-Juventus man Rabiot arrive, would also have to give up an element of the current squad, particularly a foreigner over 22 (by regulation, the constraint of 17 foreigners in the squad must be respected). The number one suspect to pack up seems to be Jovic, especially if, as it seems, he will be replaced by Abraham. Roma's striker is getting closer and closer to becoming the vice-Morata that Fonseca so coveted.
