Less than a week after the Grand Prix d'Aragon, Pecco Bagnaia è ready to return to the track on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Riviera di Rimini, the first of two events scheduled at the Romagna track.

The reigning world champion seeks redemption after the unfortunate ending in Aragon: "I am really happy to race in Misano this weekend. The Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini è always an exciting event: will runò a few kilometers from home and there will certainly be many fans to support us".

"We know we have good potential on this track and it will be fundamental to be able to do a good job right away in order to be competitive – added Pecco to Ducati’s official channels – Physically I’m not yet at 100%, but I’m working hard to be able to race without discomfort".

Bagnaia currently occupies the second position in the overall standings with a delay of 23 points on’current MotoGP leader Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing).
