Italrugby changes skin ahead of the All Blacks

The new kits of’ItalRugby are a tribute to’Renaissance art, to one of its greatest exponents, Michelangelo Buonarroti, but also to the sense of belonging to a Nation and to the words of’the anthem that represent it. Sport and art come together to exalt the’Italianità and its excellence. The Azzurri bring to the field the spirit and values of rugby and, with them, the symbols of the Renaissance, its art and culture. The Italian Men’s National Rugby Team will face a new edition of the Guinness Six Nations in the winter (opener at Murrayfield on Feb. 1 against Scotland), but first è awaited by the Autumn Nations Series test-matches against Argentina, Georgia and the All Blacks of New Zealand in November.
Ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 men’s and women’s international windows, the Italian Rugby Federation presented today at the Macron Campus the new game sets made by Macron and that the Azzurri national teams will wear during the 2024/25 season, with the first appearance of the new jerseys on the international scene scheduled for later this month in South Africa, when the Italian Women’s National Team will take the field in the WXV facing Scotland, Japan and the hosts. Present at the presentation of the new 2024/25 collection were FIR president, Marzio Innocenti, the Federation’s top management and technical commissioners Gonzalo Quesada and Giovanni Raineri, as well as Macron CEO Gianluca Pavanello and a representation of the Azzurre and Azzurri of rugby.
