Controversy between Pecco Bagnaia and Marquez: Gigi Dall’Igna sends clear message
Polemic between Pecco Bagnaia and the Marquez: Gigi Dall'Igna sends clear message
Ducati Corse general manager Gigi Dall'Igna made a bittersweet assessment of the Aragon weekend: the Ducati executive first celebrated Marc Marquez for his victories in the Sprint race and in the Sunday GP. "In a very complicated weekend due to the conditions of the new asphalt of the Aragon circuit, an incredible Marc Marquez triumphed, who raced with an overwhelming naturalness and confidence".
Dall'Igna compared Marc Marquez to "a steamroller. The’outcome of the weekend was never in doubt and was clear from the start of free practice. It was the best way to celebrate the return of a champion, the path to victory, the first with Ducati".
The other side of the coin è was the negative weekend of Pecco Bagnaia, now overtaken by Jorge Martin in the overall standings. The Piedmontese rider è crashed after a contact with another Ducatista, Alex Marquez, Marc’s brother, and there was no shortage of controversy: "A real shame to lose such precious points, and it è even more so for the way it è happened".
Dall'Igna did not express condemnation, but sent a clear signal: "It's a page that must be forgotten as soon as possible: we are entering the crucial phase of the World Championship, in which we must maintain positivityà and concentration".
