Ferrari, Loic Serra new technical director
The technical organization chart at Ferrari changes. The Maranello stable, in fact, has announced the entry, as of October 1, of Loic Serra, coming from Mercedes, who will take the place of Enrico Cordile, who accepted the offer of Aston Martin.
"Scuderia Ferrari HP announces that it has entrusted the role of Technical Director Chassis to Loic Serra,” reads the Redhead’s statement. “The French technician, born in 1972, as previously announced, will join the team starting on Oct. 1. Loic in this new role will report directly to Team Principal, Fred Vasseur".
"Serra will therefore be in charge of the Chassis Project Engineering divisions, entrusted to Fabio Montecchi; Vehicle Performance, entrusted to Marco Adurno; Aerodynamics, entrusted to Diego Tondi; Track Engineering, entrusted to Matteo Togninalli; and Chassis Operations, entrusted to Diego Ioverno, who also retains the position of Sports Director".
"The role of Technical Director Power Unit continues to be entrusted to Enrico Gualtieri, who remains reporting directly to Fred Vasseur" closes the Ferrari note.
