MotoGP, Misano: Jorge Martin the mostù fast in the first free practice
The weekend of the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix opens under the banner of Jorge Martin. The MotoGP leader, in fact, set the fastest time in the first free practice session at Misano, turning in 1'31"707.
The Pramac centaur was 37 thousandths ahead of Marc Marquez, who finished in second place. Completing the podium was wild card Pol Espargaró, riding a KTM. Fourth was the other Ducati Pramac of Franco Morbidelli, while closing out the top 5 was the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo.
Only eighth was Pecco Bagnaia, who still appeared a bit sore after the Aragon crash, behind the Aprilia of Aleix Espargaró, sixth, and the other KTM of Brad Binder, seventh. Completing the top 10 are the other Aprilia of Maverick Viñales, in ninth, and the GasGas of Pedro Acosta, in 10th.
