MotoGP, Misano: Pecco Bagnaia the fastest pre-qualifying

If Friday at Misano had opened in the sign of Jorge Martin, it closes in that of Pecco Bagnaia. The reigning world champion, in fact, closed in the lead the first day of practice of the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini, recording the best time (1'30"685).

Behind the Piedmontese rider are two other Ducatis: the Gresini one of Marc Marquez, second, and the Pramac one of the MotoGP leader, Jorge Martin. Two are also the Ducatis that complete the top 5: the Pramac of Franco Morbidelli and the Factory one of Enea Bastianini.

Also entering Q2 are Pedro Acosta (GasGas), Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia), Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) and Jack Miller (KTM). Remaining out, however, are Aleix Espargaró, Brad Binder and Fabio di Giannantonio, still struggling with the shoulder injury.
