Vuelta, Primoz Roglic triumphs on the Alto de Moncalvillo and takes the red jersey

Slovenian cyclist Primoz Roglic è won the 19th stage of the Vuelta 2024. The Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe team rider finished the 173 km, starting in Logroño and finishing at the Alto de Moncalvillo, in 3h 54' 55" ahead of David Gaudu and Mattias Skjelmose, who were 46 seconds behind the stage winner.

Thanks to this success, Roglic also won the red jersey by overtaking Australian Ben O'Connor in the overall standings, now 1.54 seconds behind.
