Jorge Martin Wins Sprint Race at Misano
Jorge Martin è the winner of the Misano Sprint Race, a short race of the weekend that will culminate on Sunday with the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix. The Spanish rider of the Prima Pramac team finished the race with a total time of 19:56.502, ahead of Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo), second with a delay of one and a half seconds, Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Prima Pramac), excellent third at 1.8, and Enea Bastianini, fourth at just two tenths from the podium.
Completing the points zone, reserved in the Sprint Races for the top nine finishers, are Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini), Pedro Acosta (Gasgas Tech3), Brad Binder and teammate Jack Miller (KTM Red Bull for both) and Fabio Quartararo, who manages to give Yamaha a point.
In the overall standings, Martin moves up to 311 points, gaining another 3 on Bagnaia, who rises to 285. Behind them, both with 234 points, are Marc Marquez and Bastianini, while Pedro Acosta closes the rainbow Top 5 a bit' further back, with a total of 152 points gained so far.
Unlucky race for Marco Bezzecchi: started third, the Romagnolo è slipped and could not soì end the race in front of the home crowd. Also on the ground was the other Ducati VR46 rider, Fabio Di Giannantonio. The third and last rider not to finish the race è was Stefan Bradl, riding a Honda.
