Jannik Sinner dedicated his victory to his ailing aunt after his triumph in the Us Open final against Taylor Fritz: "C'è a life even beyond tennis, my aunt is not well and I want to dedicate a thought to her. She's an important person, I wish her a lot of health", said the South Tyrolean tennis player, who è won with the partials of 6-3, 6-4, 7-5.
Sinner won his second career Slam, for Fritz there was no escape: "Fritz è he was a great rival, he did a super job and è it was nice to see him in such an important final. I’m convinced he’ll be back there" soon.
The success è came after the thorny case that involved him in recent weeks: "It's a title that means so much, è it was not an easy period. My team helped and supported me in complicated moments. I love tennis, I train to achieve these victories".
Sinner already looks beyond: " It went well, we worked day after day, I realized how è important the mental part is. I thank the team and the people who è been there for me. I think I can still improve and I look forward to working to improve even more".
