Galatasaray on Nicola Zalewski

Although Roma’s incoming market is over, the outgoing one would not be finished yet, where the Giallorossi would be working to thin Daniele De Rossi’s squad. In the last few days, in fact, Galatasaray has reportedly initiated contacts with the Capitolini for Nicola Zalewski.

According to reports from "Il Messaggero", the Turkish club has already put on the table an 8 million euro offer plus 3 million in bonuses to acquire the player outright. Roma, for its part, would be willing to deprive itself of the young Polish player in front of the right offer.

The main obstacle to the negotiation, however, would be the economic demands of Zalewski, who would ask for a salary around 2.5 million euros considerably higher than the 350,000 he currently receives at the Giallorossi.

The Turkish soccer market will officially close on Friday, Sept. 13, so there would still be time to iron out the details and get to the white smoke. Should the deal not go through, Roma could decide to initiate contacts with the 1999-born Pole's entourage to discuss a contract renewal expiring in June 2025.
