Adventure in South Africa for Fabio Lopez

Adventure in South Africa: Fabio Lopez è the new coach of the Pretoria Callies, a formation playing in the National First Division, the local lower division. A new choice of life for the Roman helmsman born in 1973, a true globetrotter.

Lopez has worked in Lithuania, with a couple of top league clubs, in Malaysia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia (in the prestigious Al-Ahli), Oman, and even the Maldives. And, a medal few can display, è he has also been technical commissioner of a national team: Bangladesh.

“I have been in South Africa for about a month and a half – he tells Sportal.it -. There'è been a long negotiation. For me è a satisfaction becauseé after so many continents now we add Africa: these are fundamental life experiences. I accepted a second division becauseé mainly there’è a very good relationship with the president and CEO of the club“.

“The ambitions of the president are important, he is giving me so much support.  It è not a problem not to be in the Premier League and much less there were about the salary. So è it&#39s a new adventure, and è it&#39s right that we throw new foundations and then achieve success here” too.

“I am happy, we have already started the championship. We ve already recorded one win and one loss, but the team is growing, there are many new players and of good quality. Honestly, we can aspire to do well”.
