Super Baldanzi drags Italy Under 21 with a hat trick

Italy Under 21 reinforces its lead in Group A qualifying for the European Championship with a fine victory against Norway in an away match 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick by Roma player Tommaso Baldanzi.

The talented Giallorossi player scored on 10' after a beautiful insertion on an assist from Gnonto, and in the second half he rounded off the result on 72' with a powerful left-footed conclusion and on 80' with a splendid left-footed volley under the crossbar of the posts.

Thanks to this victory, Nunziata’s team rises to 21 points, distancing by four lengths the second-ranked Ireland, which did not go beyond a 2-2 draw against Latvia.

On Oct. 15 in Trieste, Italy Under 21 will take on Ireland: a draw will be enough for the Azzurrini to qualify for the European Championships.
