Lewis Hamilton has his say on Adrian Newey’s failure to join Ferrari
Here are the words, in the press conference on the eve of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, of the British seven-time world champion of Mercedes Lewis Hamilton, who è has his say on the non-arrival of Adrian Newey in 2025 at Ferrari, the stable for which he will race next year, but also on the three-day Baku circuit.
“I think anyone wants to work with Adrian. It would have been nice, but he is an individual. What excites me the most; è is working with a’whole team of passionate people who haven’t won a championship in a long time. È great to join them and try to take that journey together“.
“We are coming from an unexceptional result in the last two races. We are working very hard to still have a good car and I think we are trying to optimize it. We have never done a spectacular job here in Azerbaijan, but I think we are asking all the right questions”.
“We will try to maximize the practice sessions, hopefully we can have a better weekend than the last two. We will take back some of the changes we made in those two weekends, including upgrades, to try to figure out which one is the right one“.
