Diamond League, Tamberi, Fabbri and Iapichino win in Brussels
Third career success in the Diamond League Finals high jump event for Gianmarco Tamberi. Gimbo è won this evening in Brussels with a measure of 2.34. In second place was Oleh Doroshchuk of Ukraine with 2.31.
Leonardo Fabbri, on the other hand, set the new Italian weight record with a measure of 22.98. The previous record, lower by 3 centimeters, belonged to Fabbri himself, who set it in Savona on May 15. He beat three-time U.S. Olympic champion Ryan Crouser, who stopped at 22.79.
In the men’s pole, Sweden’s Armand Duplantis è stopped at 6.11. In the women’s long for the blue colors Larissa Iapichino also won with 6.80, achieved in the second jump.
