Napoli, Conte: "Lukaku fundamental, now we get our hands dirty"
Napoli coach Antonio Conte to Sky commented on the Azzurri’s victory in Cagliari: "Here è always very difficult, the ground was very dry and there was a wind to calculate well for trajectories. We started well, then there'è was the interruption for barrels and smoke that broke the rhythm and made them a little easier".
The stars of the team are on the rise: "Lukaku è a player I strongly sought and wanted at Inter and had also asked him at Chelsea before United. È strong physically but also in progression and from that point of view we have to work and improve a condition that is still not optimal. For us però he becomes a fundamental player, he has done very well and on his part there'è great predisposition".
"Kvara I hope he can score many goals and understand that from him we expect the assist but also the important play to score. Today was not really a match for characteristics like his or Politano’s, but I saw desire and determination that give us hope".
The team is changing in attitude: "This was a team that over the years did not like to get its hands dirty so much. After last year the switch è was in that sense, beyond the technical qualities. And definitely the team è growing, although it isn't easy to implant that quickly. I have a really good group of guys, they understand and we are working on focus and nastiness, on desire and on keeping the goal inviolate like tonight. We fought and suffered, which is part of the process".
