Simone Inzaghi extols his team and thinks about the match against Milan

In the press conference on the sidelines of Manchester City-Inter, Simone Inzaghi goes beyond the 0-0 final scoreline and in addition to congratulating his team stresses the importance of arriving at the derby against AC Milan on Sunday night in a situation of psychological advantage, as well as in the standings, over the city rivals.

"The boys deserve a lot of compliments for the game tonight,” he said. “They were gigantic, they played an incredible game. Everyone knows the value of Manchester City, from our side we had to give 100 percent and we did that and a few plays to win it as well, with Carlos Alberto and Mkhitaryan".

"Preparing for an important game like the derby after such a performance è a very good thing,” he added.

Of course, I would have liked to win tonight but we played a good game and it&#39s okay. Now we have to come back, we will do it tomorrow because the airport in Manchester tonight è closed, è a difficulty; but we will manage it".

Speaking of derby, compared to the match against Manchester City, Dimarco should return: "We will not take risks,” Inzaghi explained, “but we are confident. Everything will depend on Saturday’s finishing, if he is well he will be among the summoned players. Our staff of doctors and physiotherapists work very well, every day: the situation è calm, if there are no problems Dimarco will beà of the match".
