Alexander Zverev will not participate in the Beijing (China) ATP500 tournament. The German world No. 2, the only one still able to prevent Jannik Sinner from ending the year ahead of everyone in the rankings, has forfeited already thinking about the Shanghai Masters1000, scheduled from Oct. 2 to 13.

Thus, the order of the seeded players in the Chinese capital’s event changes, with Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz possibly playing each other only in the final.
