Italian Cup time: eight Serie A teams on the field

Between Tuesday and Thursday, all the matches valid for the second round of the Italian Cup will be played. As many as eight Serie A teams are engaged. It starts today, at 4 p.m., with Lecce-Sassuolo. Next (6:30 p.m.), the Cagliari-Cremonese challenge (who passes, will then face Juventus). In the evening (21:00), Torino, first in the league standings, will face l'Empoli, one of the surprises of this early season.

Three matches are scheduled on Wednesday. It starts, at 4 p.m., with Pisa-Cesena. Interesting match, at 6:30 p.m., between Udinese, fresh from the loss to Roma, and Salernitana. The highlight in prime time. Whoever gets through the round will play against Inter. The Derby della Lanterna, or Genoa-Sampdoria, is staged at Marassi.

The rest of the matches in the second round of the Coppa Italia è scheduled for Thursday. At 6:30 p.m., Monza-Brescia while, at 9 p.m., Napoli, refreshed by the Conte cure, seeks the pass to the round of 16 in the confrontation, at the Maradona, with Palermo. Waiting for the Azzurri, should they pass the round, would be Lazio.

Starting with the round of 16, Juventus, Inter Milan, Milan, Atalanta, Bologna, Roma, Lazio and Fiorentina are also on the field. The first leg of the round of 16 è scheduled between Dec. 4 and 18. The return matches, however, will be played between Feb. 5 and 26. The final will be played on May 14.
