Juventus all new forward: parameter-free jewel in the crosshairs
The work is already in full swing in preparation for next season.
Juventus soccer market: the Bianconeri management is already working in view of next season, with the aim of reinforcing its attack thanks to the graft of a young center forward who would moreover arrive on a zero-parameter. He is Jonathan David, a Canadian class of 2000 whose contract with Lille è currently expires in June.
Jonathan David è one of Lille’s feathers in the cap, so much so that this season è already has 5 goals (counting also appearances with Canada’s national team). His intention in perspective è però clear: he wants to leave his current club to move to a team with higher prestige and ambitions.
Aware of the situation, Lille had already put him on the market in the summer. Even superficial interest had come from Milan, Napoli and Roma, among others, but no club had presented the €20-25 million bid needed to secure David. A situation that Juventus itself could now take advantage of.
The real knot to untie, however, concerns the young striker's salary. David aims to earn at least 5-6 million a year, figures that have affected not a little the few offers that have arrived so far. Reflections along these lines will come, with Juventus on the one hand trying to convince the player and on the other reflecting on whether to give up Dusan Vlahovic. Who, in turn, has a contract expiring in 2026 and in a year could join the list of expendables.
