World Championships in Zurich, Italy bronze in mixed time trial
At the Road World Championships being held in ZurigolItaly won the bronze medal in the mixed time trial, contested over a course of 53.7 km.
The blue team, consisting of Edoardo Affini, Mattia Cattaneo, Filippo Ganna, Elisa Longo Borghini, Soraya Paladin and Gaia Realini, è placed third just 8 seconds behind’Australia.
The Aussies won the’gold with a time of 1h12’52”28 at an average speed of 44.215 km/h beating Germany by just one second, 85 hundredths to be exact.
