È the entire route of the Tour de France 2024 was unveiled during the official presentation at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. As announced, the Grande Boucle will start in Italy for the first time and end with an individual time trial in the French Riviera, and not in Paris, to avoid overlapping with the Olympics. The last time the Tour è ended with a time trial was 35 years ago. 

The start will be in Florence: a 205-kilometer first stage that will end in Rimini with seven tough climbs and a passage to San Marino. The next day the group will depart from Cesenatico and, after 200 kilometers, arrive in Bologna via Cima Gallisterna and Imola. The third all-Italian stage includes the 225 kilometers between Piacenza and Turin. Finally, the last engagement in Piedmont land with departure from Pinerolo and arrival in France.
