In five minutes Milan takes down Lecce
At the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, in the first match of the sixth day of Serie A, AC Milan overwhelmed Lecce 3-0 in the space of five minutes and momentarily hooked Torino at the top of the standings.
After more than half an hour of yawning, in which the only chance è a Krstovic right-footed shot at 11’ deflected by Maignan the Rossoneri take the lead at 38’: Theo Hernandez beats a free-kick from the left for Morata who heads the ball into the net.
The doubling three minutes later: Leao in depth for Theo Hernandez who deflected a left-footed shot under the crossbar, clearly surprising Falcone.
At 43’ even the tris: Morata, perhaps with a foul, serves Abraham whose right-footed shot is printed on the post to Falcone’s left, who then repulses another shot by Abraham served by Emerson Royal but the ball ends up to Pulisic who puts in.
If the’referee Zuffelli did not send everyone to rest after two minutes of recovery the goleada would continue because Lecce è in total disarray, as happened to Venezia always against Fonseca’s team. Instead, when the game resumed, the result, despite a Loftus-Cheek crossbar, a Banda post and other chances on both sides, did not change anymore.
Milan also ends up in ten because of the direct expulsion of the very young Bartesaghi for an’entrance on Banda judged dangerous by Zuffelli from but little matter, the rossoneri centran the third consecutive victory and the momentary primacy.
