Cantù-Brindisi cannot be played: game postponed
Refused Cantù-Brindisi
The A2 Series match between Acqua S. Bernardo Cantù and Valtur Brindisi, initially scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 2, è was postponed to next week: it will be played, again at PalaDesio, next Wednesday, Oct. 9. The decision è was made due to the impossibility of the Apulian team to reach the venue, given what happened on Tuesday morning at the Orio al Serio airport, where the damage sustained by an airliner after landing (without physical consequences for passengers) forced the cancellation of more than one hundred flights.
"Due to the inability of the visiting team to reach the venue in time – writes Pallacanestro Cantù -, following the repercussions on air traffic of today’s accident at Orio al Serio Airport, the Italian Basketball Federation has ordered the postponement of the game between Acqua S.Bernardo Cantù and Valtur Brindisi, initially scheduled for Oct. 2 at PalaDesio.
