Sampdoria remounted at Marassi: Juve Stabia wins and flies
A result that could have a big bearing on the championship.
Sampdoria defeated again at home, by a Juve Stabia that is now è allowed to dream. The Friday night of Serie B upsets the hypothetical balances of the beginning of the championship, with a 2-1 away win that projects the Campani to the second lonely place in the standings, just 2 points behind the leading Pisa (which, forò; like all the teams that follow, has one game less on the books). Blucerchiati always in trouble: the relegation zone is just 2 points away.
Sampdoria’s evening had, moreover, started in a decidedly positive way, with dangers created by Depaoli and Coda: the latter also hit a post on a free kick. Then è Thiam to say no to Tutino. On the other side Fortini came on, but at 36'Juve Stabia had to surrender to Coda’s conclusion well served by Bellemo on the development of a corner. And at halftime the hosts are ahead.
At the beginning of the resumption forò everything changes in less than five minutes. Already at 47' Adorante equalized with a header after a solo run by Fortini, and then doubled at 49' with another framing on Floriani’s service. Juve Stabia could even triple with Buglio and then with the unleashed Floriani equalizing the goal count.
It was not until after the hour of play that Sampdoria tried to take back the game, first with an insidious shot by Benedetti and then with an attempt from distance by Coda. In the finale Sekulov also tries, but on the other side Buglio again scares Silvestri on a free kick. Tutino tries in the last minute, but nothing changes: Juve Stabia flies and dreams, Blucerchiati again in the nightmare after two consecutive victories.
